Cohen Chair

In the design process of the Cohen Chair, unnecessary details were deliberately removed to emphasize clarity, function, and refinement. Rather than relying on formal complexity, the chair seeks balance through proportion, structure, and material.
The character of the piece emerged from the image of a single flower occupying space with a quiet, effortless presence. During the process, the memory of a wild anemone repeatedly came to mind — a delicate flower whose simple form conveys both fragility and resilience.
The Cohen Chair was selected as a finalist in the Furniture Design category of the SBID International Design Awards in London.
